Biography
Pat has lived in Barton since 1975. She finished her career as a policy officer in the Home Office having spent over twenty years working in the Probation Service and in partnership with local councils.
Pat has a wide range of voluntary service, she is a former Chair and now trustee of Rising Sun Domestic Violence Abuse Service and sits on the Board of Kent Refugee Action Network. She is a member of Oaten Hill and South Canterbury Association on which she has taken a particular interest in health and planning issues, representing the association on the city council’s Higher Education group.
She was elected to Canterbury City Council in 2019 as a representative for Barton ward with Connie Nolan and Dave Wilson.
Pat sits on the Policy Committee, Planning Committee, Audit Committee and Joint Transport Board. She is Labour’s Lead Councillor for Climate Change and the Local Plan.
