Andy is a business development manager who supports over fifty pubs across East Kent and as such understands first hand how much small businesses are struggling.
He is a father of two teenage sons and was until recently Chairman of Tankerton Bay Football Club, negotiating with the city council to find the club a long term home on ‘bends’. He is a former Governor of Whitstable School used to negotiating agreements, leading groups of people and making decisions.
Andy believes passionately that this council can do much more to support local businesses. Over the last five years the council has cut funding to local festivals and business development teams in Herne Bay. It has abandoned plans to regenerate the seafront and provided little in this cost of living crisis.
