Rosie Jackson is a final-year Politics and International Relations student at the University of Kent. She is also Chair of Kent Labour Students and can frequently be seen knocking on doors in Westgate where she lives.
Rosie grew up in Essex, but has fallen in love with Canterbury, and will continue living in Canterbury after her graduation.
She is looking forward to working alongside Pip Hazelton to ensure street safety for Westgate residents, protecting their beautiful environment, and support local businesses in her community. Last year she helped organise a Reclaim the Streets march to highlight the risk to women and young girls after dark, she has since worked closely with Kent Police on trying to make our town safer.
Her goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive community for all and invites all residents of Westgate to join her in building a better future for their community.
