Sam is a second year Politics and International Relations student. He is also an outreach ambassador for his course and is the current President of the Politics Society at Canterbury Christ Church University.
He is keen to work in or around local government after finishing his studies. Sam has grown up in Kent and his family still live in the area.
Outside of University, Sam is an enthusiastic volunteer for Friends International, a charity supporting international students to integrate into the local community. He is a member of St Andrews Church in Canterbury and enjoys writing and swimming.
As a university city, Sam feels it is important that younger voices are a key part of elected representation in local government here.
