About Valerie
A former headteacher and magistrate, Valerie has lived in Gorrell ward for over two decades where she is known locally and active in community groups.
Valeries has a passion for environment has been at the front and centre of campaigns for clean beaches, save green spaces along the Thanet Way and improve our awareness of the need to go Plastic Free. She served as councillor for Gorrell up until 2022 during which she helped fight to protect our beach from over development.

Whitstable Labour councillors are holding Southern Water to account and beginning to see much needed investment. A Labour government has passed new laws allowing polluting bosses to be jailed for pumping sewage into our sea.
