Teresa lives in Canterbury, she is enjoying being retired as it gives her lots of opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren who keep her active.
Teresa spent the last decade of her working life in parliament but prior to that she worked as a Tax Investigator for a large accountancy firm, specialising in complex tax disputes and fraud enquiries.
She loves classic cinema , particularly film noir and melodramas, she is never happier than when settling down to watch the great women of cinema such as Barbara Stanwyck or Bette Davis.
Teresa also loves books , belongs to three book clubs , and can often be found scouring charity shop bookshelves for bargains.
Teresa is involved in politics to fight injustice and she gets angry that young families today don’t have the life chances that she had when she was a young mum. Standing in this local election is her way of putting that anger into action .
