Whitstable Councillors launch litter plan

Whitstable is drowning in rubbish. Residents and visitors face overflowing bins on the beach, miles of litter along the Thanet Way, and whole areas of the town are ‘bin deserts.’ Whitstable Labour party is calling for a proper plan to put it right – drawing on the best ideas from our and other areas, properly resourced with staff and equipment.

Since the beginning of the year Whitstable Labour Party has started carrying out bi-monthly litter picks of hot spot areas (see photo above). We’d welcome any comments in order to improve the document to [email protected]
